How to deal with an annoying person?

I am 14 years of age, I and many of my friends are faced with dealing with a completely self-centered, over-confident, (pardon my language).I am fairly certain half of our school thinks of him as the same. He berades us all and is very annoying, please give some advice on how to deal with him and get him to shut up
