Trying to get pregnant...?

my fiance has been trying to get me preggo... but nothing is happeneing im 22 weight about 70 kgs i am a smoker tho will give up if i do get pregnant i have my period once a month but never on the rite date its usually earlier or l8r on or somtimes it dont come at all whens the best time to get preggo plz help
