How good is the LG VU?

I was wondering i have an upgrade coming up and i have the first Blackjack now. Im either looking at 3 phones. The LG VU. THe Blackberry curve. And the Blackjack II. If anyone has any experiance with these phones plz let me know. Also with the VU could i get the free 30 day TV thing and get t cancelled within the 30 days?!
