Is PDA illegal or against the law in anyway?

Im kind of getting tired of this. People around my community have been complaining about me and my boyfriends PDA and even saying lies like, we have in the pool and in the car! We dont do that and never have! Whats their deal?! Is it illegal or something? All we do is hug each, kiss, and I sit on his lap. Sometimes, we stay in the car, particularly in the evening time, because we get a lot of mosquitoes here. Anyway, are we doing something wrong or are these people just looking for another reason to complain and gossip?
