Weather in Vail, Colorado?

I will be visiting Vail Colorado from April 10th to April 16th and have intentions to snowboard and ski with my wife, brother and sister in law. two of us are not very skilled so if we have horrible weather it will make it not worth while to go but I have to decide today if I should purchase lift tickets for 1 day or 3 days. Based on experience what will the weather look like that week. Out of 5 days will I be able to find 3 good days to ski/snowbaord?
