Why is obama being blamed for americas debt to china?

When are people going to realise it is not your leaders it is the whole American system that is unsustainable. Do any of you remember where you got the money to pay for all the military equipment you have now? It was from WW2, America was on of the poorest industrialised nation in the World but once Russia and Britain started fighting the Nazis the USA GNP double higher than any other industrialised nation and kept going because you were supplying us with weapons. the cold War practically wiped out these gains in ww2 and now it is just credit that is left.
