The Great Gatsby!! Help!?

First of all, quotes aren't always necessary, you can easily paraphrase, at least, that's what my teacher told us while preparing for MCAS. Second of all i thought The Great Gatsby was incredibly boring, but i only read the first 20 pages or so during silent reading, but i could be wrong - good luck on your test or whatever!
